HireTale applies protection to its five sheets (Candidates, Interviews, Selections, Settings, Dashboard) for editors; so structure, data, and formula are guarded. Editors can only add or update data through the add-on.
The spreadsheet owner makes direct cell edits in Settings for customisation. The owner can also correct a wrongly made uneditable entry by an editor (like Source) via direct cell edit.
Your own non-HireTale sheets in the spreadsheet are never touched by the add-on.
Recovering accidentally deleted data or columns
• HireTale automatically restores its essential columns on clicking refresh.
• For anything else, in Google Sheets menu, go to File → Version history → See version history → Hover mouse on correct version → 3-dot icon → Restore this version.
Version history brings back both the data and the structure.
