The four signals
Green: Positively finished. The candidate successfully joined. (e.g.,
Joined)Red: Negatively finished. The candidate was dropped at any stage. (e.g.,
Hiring manager rejected)Blue: In motion. The candidate is in active consideration. (e.g.,
Onsite Scheduled)Grey: Parked on purpose. The candidate is neither selected to go ahead nor rejected. (e.g.,
Future Lead)
Tip: "Offer accepted" is intentionally active, hence blue, not green. The candidate hasn't joined yet, so they still need follow-up.
The "Live status" column
On the Candidates sheet, this column updates itself from the candidate's latest interview or selection. You don't have to manually edit it.
If the candidate is currently in the Interviews stage, it combines the latest round and the status.(e.g., Onsite Scheduled)
If the candidate has reached the Selections stage, it will show the same status as this stage. (e.g., Offer made)
So the Candidates sheet always shows where everyone actually is.
